See title. I used to be really...well, fairly good at animating about a year ago - but due to being busy and traveling I fell out of practice. Subsequently, it's hard to continue it because, well, my drawing "style" sort of changed, so the techniques I used before are kind of iffy. I'm trying to figure out what exactly I did that made me able to animate, and attempt to reinstate them, but it's a little hard. Also, I'm having difficulty with the software, Flash CS3, for various reasons.
One thing is pressure sensitivity. The first time I got it, the icon for it didn't show up D: So I reinstalled the drivers, etc etc, and eventually I got it- except it only shows up if I change the toolbar from one row to two. It's annoying because of the extra space it takes up, but meh. I'll deal w/ it :B
But- then comes another problem- randomly it decides that, no matter how much pressure I use, it's a full blown big mark, and that leads to these random "spots":

I circled them with Pencil. It gets annoying when inking :( Sometimes it only happens if I ctrl+z a lot, so maybe ctrl or z affects it? Ahhh.
Another issue is with the brush too. It lags. If I make a stroke too fast, this happens:

Yeup. This happens in oekaki sometimes too. I suppose, maybe, it's the fault of the tablet? However, this rarely happens on my desktop, which is running XP and has a little smoother graphics card. The same kind of lag occurs when I'm watching Youtube, I think? Not sure, eh.
I think I'll post some animated .gifs, later.
Anyways, time to share some
( videos, lol. )
